Fire Stampede, 2 or Ultimate? How Pragmatic Play’s Connect & Collect bison slots differ
Short answer — All three Fire Stampede slots use the same Connect & Collect rule: a chain of touching Connect & Collect symbols starting on reel 1 wins whatever prize sits at the special positions it reaches. The prizes and the RTP change between versions. The original (96.00%) offers respins, cash, wilds, free spins and three jackpots. Fire Stampede 2 (96.51%) adds money prizes up to 4,000x and free-spin wilds of 2x or 3x that multiply each other. Ultimate (96.45%) adds Cash Respins with mystery cash prizes of up to 80,000x. What each version changes
Fire Stampede: the original
Fire Stampede plays on a 5×5 grid. The top and bottom of reel 3 and an extra sixth reel hold the prize chips. A cowboy-hat wild substitutes for everything except Connect & Collect, and three jackpots (minor, major and grand) are available. Its RTP of 96.00% is the lowest of the three.
Fire Stampede 2: multiplying wilds
Fire Stampede 2 gives 7, 10 or 15 free spins for 3, 4 or 5 scatters, plus any spins collected through Connect & Collect. In free spins, wilds carry 2x or 3x, and when more than one is in a win they multiply each other. As an illustrative example of our own: 2x and 3x make 6x, so a ₱20 win becomes ₱120. It has the highest RTP of the three, at 96.51%.
Ultimate: Cash Respins
Fire Stampede Ultimate triggers Respins and Cash Respins only on reel 3. Cash Respins add buffalo coins with multipliers of up to 5x and mystery symbols paying random cash of up to 80,000x. When both trigger together, Super Respins unlock the modifiers on reel 6.
In pesos
On ₱10,000 of total bets, the expected long-run cost is ₱349 for Fire Stampede 2 and ₱400 for the original, by our calculation, a ₱51 gap. On a ₱10 bet, Fire Stampede 2’s 4,000x money prize is ₱40,000, and Ultimate’s 80,000x mystery prize is ₱800,000. That last figure is extremely rare by design, and the pages do not say how often any prize is reached.
Which one to open
- For the best RTP and multiplying free-spin wilds, choose Fire Stampede 2.
- For respin-based play with the largest single prize, choose Ultimate.
- For fixed jackpots, choose the original, noting its 96.00% RTP.
- Confirm the RTP in the game’s information screen at your platform.
